  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce, divided
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • Graham crackers, apple slices, or pretzels, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1/4 cup of the caramel sauce, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
  2. Stir in the diced apple.
  3. Place the remaining 1/4 cup caramel sauce and the chopped pecans on separate plates.
  4. Shape the cream cheese mixture into a ball.
  5. Roll the cheese ball in the caramel sauce, then roll it in the chopped pecans until fully coated.
  6. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow it to firm up.
  7. Serve with graham crackers, apple slices, or pretzels.

Notes

For an extra touch, drizzle additional caramel sauce over the cheese ball before serving. You can also substitute the pecans with walnuts or almonds.
