Delicious Cheddar Bay Biscuit Sausage Balls

These Cheddar Bay Biscuit Sausage Balls are a savory and delicious appetizer or breakfast treat! Combining the flavors of Red Lobster’s famous biscuits with hearty sausage, they’re easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 packet Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix (seasoning only)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the breakfast sausage, Bisquick, cheddar cheese, and milk. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Use a spoon or cookie scoop to form the mixture into 1-inch balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the sausage balls are baking, melt the butter in a small bowl and stir in the Cheddar Bay Biscuit seasoning.
  6. Once the sausage balls are out of the oven, brush them with the seasoned butter.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley (optional) and serve warm.
