This classic cheese quesadilla is a quick, easy, and satisfying meal or snack. Perfect for busy weeknights or a simple lunch.

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: Salsa, sour cream, guacamole for serving

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle cheese evenly over one tortilla.
  2. Top with the other tortilla.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Place the quesadilla in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
  5. Remove from skillet and let cool slightly.
  6. Cut into wedges and serve with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For a spicier quesadilla, add a pinch of chili flakes or diced jalapeños to the cheese filling. You can also use different types of cheese like Monterey Jack or pepper jack.
