This baked cheeseburger combines juicy ground beef with melted cheese and classic toppings for a delicious, easy-to-make meal perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • Optional: lettuce, tomato slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, diced onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  3. Shape the beef mixture into 4 equal patties.
  4. Place patties in a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove the dish from the oven and top each patty with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Return to oven and bake an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Toast the sandwich buns if desired, then assemble the cheeseburgers with the baked patties and optional lettuce and tomato.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add sliced jalapeños or serve with crispy fries on the side.
