  • 2 sheets of puff pastry or croissant dough
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chip cookie dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the croissant dough on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the dough into rectangles large enough to wrap a tablespoon of cookie dough.
  4. Place a tablespoon of chocolate chip cookie dough in the center of each dough rectangle.
  5. Fold and seal the edges carefully to encase the cookie dough inside, forming a croissant shape.
  6. Place the wrapped croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush each croissant with the beaten egg to give a glossy finish.
  8. Optionally, sprinkle sugar on top for extra crunch and sweetness.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
