Golden Cranberry Brie Bites on Display

These Cranberry Brie Bites are the perfect appetizer for any holiday gathering! Flaky puff pastry cups are filled with creamy brie and sweet-tart cranberry sauce for a delicious and easy-to-make treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
  3. Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Using a 2-inch round cookie cutter, cut out circles from the puff pastry.
  5. Gently press each circle into the mini muffin tin cups.
  6. Place a few cubes of brie cheese into each puff pastry cup.
  7. Top with a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
  8. If desired, sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts over the cranberry sauce.
  9. Brush the edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the brie is melted.
  11. Let cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin.
  12. Serve warm.

Notes

For an extra festive touch, drizzle with honey after baking or sprinkle with fresh thyme.
