This Cranberry Brie Crescent Wreath is a stunning and delicious appetizer perfect for the holidays. Flaky crescent dough is filled with creamy brie and sweet-tart cranberry sauce, then baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans crescent roll dough
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
  • 1 (14 ounce) can cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds (optional, for garnish)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  3. Arrange the triangles in a circle on the prepared baking sheet, with the wide ends overlapping in the center and the points facing outwards.
  4. In a bowl, combine the cubed brie, cranberry sauce, and nuts (if using).
  5. Spoon the brie mixture onto the wide ends of the crescent triangles.
  6. Fold the points of the triangles over the filling, tucking them under the center ring to form a wreath shape.
  7. Brush the top of the wreath with the beaten egg.
  8. Sprinkle with sliced almonds (if using).
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs, if desired.

Notes

Serve warm with crackers or sliced apples for dipping. For a festive touch, use different types of cranberry sauce or add a sprinkle of orange zest to the brie mixture.
