  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely diced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • Crackers, baguette slices, or vegetables, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold in the cranberry sauce, diced jalapeno, and green onions.
  3. If desired, stir in chopped pecans or walnuts.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving dish.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve chilled with crackers, baguette slices, or vegetables.

Notes

For a milder flavor, remove the veins and seeds from the jalapeno before dicing. You can also adjust the amount of jalapeno to your preference. To make ahead, prepare the dip up to 24 hours in advance and store it in the refrigerator.
