Cream Cheese Sausage Balls are a savory, bite-sized appetizer combining rich sausage, creamy cheese, and tender biscuits for an irresistible snack perfect for gatherings or snacks.

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups biscuit baking mix (such as Bisquick)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the sausage and softened cream cheese until well combined.
  3. Add shredded cheddar cheese, biscuit baking mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are thoroughly blended.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or serve with your favorite dipping sauce such as honey mustard or ranch.
