Creamy Horseradish Sauce recipe

This creamy horseradish sauce offers a zesty, tangy kick perfect for enhancing meats, sandwiches, and roasted vegetables with a smooth, rich texture.

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream, prepared horseradish, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
  2. Whisk all ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper as desired.
  4. Cover and refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled alongside roast beef, sandwiches, or as a dip for vegetables.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a small amount of freshly grated horseradish just before serving.
