  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (or more, to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine feta cheese, panko breadcrumbs, olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Press the feta mixture evenly onto the top of each chicken breast.
  4. Place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the feta crust is golden brown.
  6. While the chicken is baking, prepare the hot honey drizzle: In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, and butter. Heat over medium heat until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  7. Drizzle the hot honey over the cooked chicken. Serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with roasted vegetables or a side salad for a complete meal. For extra spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the feta mixture.
