Crispy Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwich

  • 4 slices brioche bread
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, blend softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on two slices of brioche bread.
  3. Top the cream cheese with sliced strawberries, then cover with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
  4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Sprinkle granulated sugar on the outsides of each sandwich and place them in the skillet.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden and crispy and the sugar has caramelized.
  7. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve immediately.
