  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (6 ounce) box stuffing mix
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine stuffing mix, chicken broth, melted butter, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spoon the stuffing mixture over the chicken breasts.
  4. Spread the condensed cream of chicken soup evenly over the stuffing.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and stuffing is tender.
  6. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add some chopped celery and onion to the stuffing mixture. Serve with a side of cranberry sauce or green beans.
