This creamy crockpot mac and cheese recipe is the perfect comfort food for a busy weeknight. Simply toss all the ingredients in your slow cooker and let it do the work!

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Grease a 6-quart slow cooker.
  2. Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, or until macaroni is tender and cheese is melted, stirring occasionally.
  4. Serve warm.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a block of cream cheese. You can also top with breadcrumbs and bake for 15 minutes for a crispy topping.
