  • 4 ounces (115g) unsweetened dark chocolate, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • ½ cup (100g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup (30g) all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Whisk in the melted dark chocolate until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract, flour, and salt until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pie crust.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  8. Let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
