  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine apples, granulated sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir in caramel sauce.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and oats. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Pour apple mixture into a 9-inch pie plate.
  5. Sprinkle crumble topping evenly over the apples.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
