Fudgy Brownie Cookies

These fudgy brownie cookies combine the rich, gooey texture of brownies with the convenience of a cookie, perfect for satisfying chocolate cravings anytime.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until fully combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt; fold gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set but centers remain fudgy.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For an extra indulgent touch, sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top of the cookies before baking to enhance the chocolate flavor.
