This easy Garlic Herb Cheeseball is a crowd-pleasing appetizer, perfect for parties and gatherings. Creamy, flavorful, and rolled in fresh herbs, it’s a guaranteed hit!

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces goat cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Additional fresh herbs (parsley, chives, rosemary) for coating
  • Crackers, baguette slices, or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, goat cheese, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped chives, chopped rosemary, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the cheese mixture. Stir well to combine.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Once chilled, remove the cheese mixture from the refrigerator.
  5. On a plate or shallow dish, spread out the additional fresh herbs for coating.
  6. Shape the cheese mixture into a ball using your hands or a spatula.
  7. Roll the cheeseball in the fresh herbs, pressing gently to ensure they adhere to the surface.
  8. Wrap the cheeseball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the herbs to set.
  9. Serve the Garlic Herb Cheeseball with crackers, baguette slices, or vegetables.

Notes

For an extra touch, drizzle the cheeseball with a little olive oil just before serving. You can also add chopped nuts to the herb coating for added texture.
