  • 1 cup gluten free all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 1/2 cups gluten free breadcrumbs
  • Cooking oil for frying (such as vegetable or avocado oil)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine gluten free flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and water.
  3. Place gluten free breadcrumbs in a third shallow bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken tender first into the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  5. Then dip into the egg mixture, ensuring it is fully coated.
  6. Finally, coat the chicken tenders with the gluten free breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  7. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  8. Fry the chicken tenders in batches for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.

Notes

For a healthier alternative, bake the tenders at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through until crispy.
