This Halloween Crack is a sweet and salty treat perfect for parties and snacking. It’s incredibly addictive and easy to make with simple ingredients like saltine crackers, toffee, and Halloween-themed sprinkles.

  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the butter mixture evenly over the saltine crackers.
  6. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the toffee is bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let sit for a minute to melt, then spread evenly.
  8. Sprinkle with Halloween sprinkles.
  9. Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use salted butter. You can also add chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts to the toffee layer.
