These Herb and Cheese Stuffed Puff Pastry Bites are an easy and elegant appetizer perfect for any gathering. Flaky puff pastry filled with a savory blend of herbs and cheeses makes them irresistible.

  • 1 sheet (14.1 oz) puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, chives, parsley, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until well combined.
  3. Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry.
  5. Cut the puff pastry into small squares (about 1.5 inches).
  6. Transfer the squares to the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops of the squares with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
