Rich Homemade Caesar Salad Dressing

This homemade Caesar salad dressing recipe is creamy, tangy, and so much better than store-bought! It’s easy to make with fresh ingredients and adds the perfect flavor to any Caesar salad.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon water (optional, for thinning)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and pepper.
  2. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking constantly until the dressing is emulsified and smooth.
  3. If the dressing is too thick, add water, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For a bolder flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
