This Jalapeno Popper Cheese Ball is the ultimate party appetizer! Creamy, cheesy, and packed with spicy jalapenos and crispy bacon, it’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapenos, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels or crackers, for coating

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped jalapenos, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into a ball.
  3. Place the crushed pretzels or crackers on a plate or shallow dish. Roll the cheese ball in the crushed pretzels or crackers until completely coated.
  4. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow it to firm up.
  5. Serve cold with crackers, vegetables, or chips.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cheese mixture. You can also use a different type of cheese, such as pepper jack or Monterey Jack.
