These Keto Cottage Cheese Bagels are a low-carb, protein-packed alternative to traditional bagels, perfect for a quick breakfast or snack. Soft, flavorful, and easy to make, they fit perfectly into any ketogenic lifestyle.

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (full fat)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella and cottage cheese. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, then microwave for another 30 seconds until fully melted and combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, then mix in almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
  4. Add the melted cheese and cottage cheese mixture to the dry ingredients and stir thoroughly until a dough forms.
  5. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and shape each into a ball. Poke a hole through the center of each ball to form a bagel shape.
  6. Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning if desired.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Allow the bagels to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
