Lemon Pepper Wings

Crispy and zesty Lemon Pepper Wings offer a perfect balance of tangy citrus and bold peppery flavor, ideal for a flavorful appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
  3. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, cracked black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  4. Toss the wings in the lemon pepper mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Arrange the wings on the wire rack in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
  7. Remove from oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the wings for 2-3 minutes at the end of baking, watching carefully to avoid burning.
