Mustard Greens Recipe

This simple mustard greens recipe delivers a healthy and flavorful side dish. Sautéed with garlic and a touch of vinegar, it’s a quick and easy way to enjoy this nutrient-rich leafy green.

  • 1 pound mustard greens, washed and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. Add the chopped mustard greens to the skillet.
  4. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and stir well.
  5. Cover the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the greens are tender.
  6. Remove the lid and stir in the apple cider vinegar.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve immediately.
