Oreo Cheesecake

This Oreo Cheesecake combines a rich, creamy filling with crunchy Oreo cookie crust and topping for an irresistible dessert perfect for any occasion.

  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz (680g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 12 Oreo cookies, halved for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Line a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix crushed Oreos with melted butter until combined, then press firmly into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by sour cream until the batter is creamy and smooth.
  5. Pour filling over the crust and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes until the edges are set but the center slightly jiggles.
  7. Turn off oven, leave cheesecake inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour.
  8. Remove from oven, cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Before serving, decorate the top with halved Oreo cookies.
  10. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

For a richer flavor, let the cheesecake sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before slicing. You can also drizzle chocolate sauce on top for extra indulgence.
