Enjoy the comforting flavors of potstickers in a warm and savory soup! This quick and easy recipe combines pre-made potstickers with a flavorful broth and fresh vegetables for a satisfying meal.

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • 1 pound frozen potstickers
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha (if using). Bring to a simmer.
  3. Add frozen potstickers and sliced mushrooms to the pot. Cook according to potsticker package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes, or until potstickers are heated through.
  4. Stir in baby spinach until wilted, about 1 minute.
  5. Ladle soup into bowls and garnish with green onions. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a swirl of chili oil or a squeeze of lime juice before serving.
