Puff Pastry Brie Bites Ready to Serve

These Puff Pastry Brie Bites are the perfect appetizer for any occasion! Creamy brie cheese is baked in flaky puff pastry until golden brown and bubbly.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 ounces brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup fig jam (or other jam of your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into 16 equal squares.
  4. Place a square of brie in the center of each puff pastry square.
  5. Top the brie with a small dollop of fig jam and sprinkle with chopped nuts (if using).
  6. Brush the edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg.
  7. Fold the corners of the puff pastry towards the center, pinching to seal.
  8. Brush the tops of the pastries with the remaining egg wash.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of fresh thyme for an extra touch of flavor.
