Freshly prepared Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Homemade Reeses Peanut Butter Cups combine creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate for a nostalgic and irresistible treat perfect for any sweet craving.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, melted butter, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Melt chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
  4. Place about 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate into each liner, swirling to coat the bottom.
  5. Add about 1 tablespoon of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate layer, pressing gently.
  6. Cover peanut butter layer with another teaspoon of melted chocolate.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
  8. Remove cups from liners and enjoy.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, sprinkle a pinch of crushed peanuts on top before the final chocolate layer sets.
