  • 1 pound Brussel sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar or maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussel sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the Brussel sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and browned, flipping halfway through.
  5. Optional: Drizzle with balsamic vinegar or maple syrup in the last 5 minutes of roasting.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispy Brussel sprouts, don’t overcrowd the baking sheet. You can also add a sprinkle of parmesan cheese during the last few minutes of roasting.
