  • 1 cup caramel bits, melted according to package directions
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted according to package directions
  • 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut, toasted
  • Sea salt flakes, for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple slices: Core the apples and slice them into approximately 1/2-inch thick rounds.
  2. Melt the caramel: Melt the caramel bits according to the package directions.
  3. Melt the chocolate: Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips according to package directions.
  4. Assemble the slices: Dip each apple slice into the melted caramel, allowing excess to drip off. Place on parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle with chocolate: Drizzle the melted chocolate over the caramel-covered apple slices.
  6. Sprinkle with coconut: Immediately sprinkle the toasted coconut over the chocolate.
  7. Add salt (optional): Sprinkle with sea salt flakes, if desired.
  8. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the caramel and chocolate to set.
  9. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For easier dipping, insert a popsicle stick into the bottom of each apple slice before dipping into the caramel. You can also use white chocolate in place of semi-sweet for a different flavor profile.
