  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup bourbon apple butter
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon whiskey
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Shape mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them into the slow cooker.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together bourbon apple butter, bourbon whiskey, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.
  4. Pour the sauce evenly over the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, until meatballs are cooked through and sauce is bubbly.
  6. Stir gently to coat meatballs in sauce before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce or serve with crusty bread to soak up the delicious glaze.
