Slow Cooker Queso Dip

This creamy and flavorful Slow Cooker Queso Dip is perfect for parties and gatherings, featuring melted cheese and spicy peppers for a deliciously smooth dip.

  • 16 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place Velveeta cheese cubes, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes and green chilies, jalapeños, diced onions, and minced garlic into the slow cooker.
  2. Pour in the milk and sprinkle the cumin evenly over the ingredients.
  3. Stir everything gently to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes until cheese is completely melted and smooth.
  5. Season with salt to taste and stir well.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired and serve warm with tortilla chips or vegetables.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a dash of hot sauce or swap jalapeños for hotter peppers. This dip also keeps warm well in the slow cooker for hours, making it perfect for parties.
