Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1-2 tbsp sriracha (or your favorite hot sauce), adjust to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Roll mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. While meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce. In a saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, BBQ sauce, and sriracha. Heat over medium heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally.
  7. Once meatballs are cooked, transfer them to the saucepan with the sauce. Toss to coat.
  8. Simmer for 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  9. Serve hot.

Notes

Serve these meatballs as an appetizer with toothpicks, or over rice or mashed potatoes for a complete meal. For a milder flavor, reduce or omit the sriracha.
