tiramisu chia pudding

Tiramisu Chia Seed Pudding Close-Up

Enjoy the rich flavors of tiramisu in a healthy and easy chia pudding. This no-bake dessert is perfect for a quick breakfast or guilt-free treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Optional toppings: cocoa powder, chocolate shavings, whipped cream

Instructions

  1. In a jar or container, combine chia seeds, almond milk, cooled coffee, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are combined.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, allowing the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and create a pudding-like consistency.
  4. Before serving, stir the pudding to break up any clumps.
  5. If the pudding is too thick, add a splash of almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
  6. Top with cocoa powder, chocolate shavings, or whipped cream, if desired.
  7. Serve chilled.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use espresso instead of coffee. You can also add a splash of coffee liqueur or rum extract for an authentic tiramisu taste (avoid alcohol if serving to children).
