  • 2 cups almond milk (or preferred milk)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon slivered almonds
  • Optional: a pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, bring the almond milk to a gentle boil.
  2. Add the rolled oats and a pinch of cinnamon, reduce heat to low, and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the oats are soft and creamy.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and honey.
  4. Pour the oatmeal into a serving bowl.
  5. Top with sliced strawberries, raspberries, chia seeds, and slivered almonds.
  6. Drizzle a little extra honey on top if desired.
